Eden Valley Bowls Leagues: Divisions Heat Up As League Lead Changes Hands

The Eden Valley Leagues are starting to heat up as the good weather starts to roll in as the lead changes hands in one division.

Eden Valley Mixed Triples

The lead is of Division One changed again on Tuesday, May 14, as Appleby A beat Penrith Friars B 7-3 to take top spot while Lazonby were beaten 7-3 by Caldbeck and Linton lost 4-6 to Fitz Park B as Fitz Park A game against Temple Sowerby was postponed.

Fitz Park B take on Fitz Park A on Tuesday, May 21, as Appleby A travel to Lazonby while Penrith Friars B host Caldbeck and Linton make the trip to Temple Sowerby.

In Division Two Wetheral are on course to to an immediate return to Division One as on Tuesday, May 14, Wetheral won 2-8 at Penrith Castle Park as Penrith Friars A beat Appleby B 6-4 and Shap were 9-1 winners against Skelton.

Dalston return to the green on Tuesday, May 21, against Penrith Friars A as Penrith Castle Park head to Skelton and Wetheral face Shap.

Fitz Park A have maintained their hold on the top spot in the Mixed Rinks with a 6-2 win over Lazonby on Thursday, May 16, as Caldbeck kept pace with a 2-6 win at Penrith Friars.

Shap sit third after a 6-2 win over Temple Sowerby while Appleby were beaten 2-6 by Fitz Park B as Penrith Castle Park picked up an 8-0 win over Skelton.

Fitz Park A take on Fitz Park B on Thursday, May 23, as Caldbeck look to take advantage when they face Appleby while Shap head to Lazonby.

As Penrith Castle Park head to Penrith Friars and Temple Sowerby welcome Skelton.

Temple Sowerby Ladies moved into top spot with a 0-6 win at Shap on Thursday, May 16, while Lazonby lost 4-2 at Fitz Park and Penrith Friars picked up a 6-0 win at home to Caldbeck.

There is just the one game on Thursday, May 23, as Lazonby looking to take top spot host Shap.
