Cumbria Police are seeking information after a 50 year old man died on the A595 near Winscale incident.

The emergency services were called at 9:51am today, May 19, to the initial report of a road traffic collision between a car and a cyclist on the A595 at Winscale.

Emergency services attended and established no collision had occurred, and that the cyclist had come off his bike.

Sadly despite efforts of emergency services the man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene.
