Newlaithes and Vickerstown continue their unbeaten start to the Andrea Women’s League.

Sitting top after three games unbeaten Newlaithes made it four with a 1-2 win over Allerdale Wildcats with Emma Hird and Kerri Mallinson on target with Charli Gibbons opening the scoring on Wednesday, May 8.

Abbeytown hit five against Kendal Town Ladies as they ran out 5-0 winners with a Megan Todd hat trick as Laura Taylor and Kate Brown added the other two.

Whitehaven AFC moved into joint second with Vickerstown and Abbeytown after a 6-0 win over Penrith AFC with Megan Batey and Ashleigh Mcallister scoring twice with Ellie- May Callander adding the fifth with Penrith scoring an own goal.

Xtreme Ladies got their first win of the season with a 4-1 victory over Stanwix Hornets as Rachael Gallagher score her first goal for Xtreme with Abigail Lamb and Emma Watson adding the others.

Vickerstown came away with a 0-3 win against Carlisle United as Workington Diamonds were awarded their game with Stanwix Bees.

Newlaithes take on Whitehaven on Wednesday, May 15, as Vickerstown host Stanwix Bees while Stanwix Hornets host Allerdale Wildcats and Workington Diamonds play Xtreme Fitness.

All matches are a 7:15pm (19:15) kickoff.
