Newlaithes Ladies have moved three points clear at the top of the Andrea Women’s League.
Emma Hird continued her goal scoring form as she both goals as Newlaithes beat Workington Diamonds 2–1 on Wednesday, May 1.
Penrith AFC lost 0-1 Vickerstown as Stanwix Bees ran out 1-0 winners against Carlisle United.
Whitehaven AFC Ladies are back on track with a 4-0 win as Aisha Sandwich got her first goal for the club with Emmi Davidson and a double from Megan Batley completing the scoring against Kendal Town Ladies.
It is a bumper fixture list on Wednesday, May 8, as Newlaithes head to Allerdale Wildcats with Abbeytown hosting Kendal Town while Vickerstown travel to Carlisle United and Whitehaven AFC face Penrith AFC as the clubs battle it out at the top.
Xtreme Ladies welcome Stanwix Hornets to Flimby Sports ground.
