Cumbria’s Lancashire FA Women’s sides seasons have come to an end as the divisions look to finalise the standings as teams play their last games.
It has been a busy few days in the Premier Division with teams playing back to back games or two matches within days.
Champions Wigan Athletic played back to back games on Sunday, April 21, against Cumbrian GT7 Academy taking a 7-0 win and a 2-2 draw as Bolton Wanderers hit an 11-0 win at home to Sir Tom Finney while Clitheroe won 5-4 against Chorley.
Wigan Athletic were back in on Tuesday, April 23, taking a 0-4 victory at Burnley as Clitheroe were beaten 1-9 by Accrington Stanley on April 24 and Blackpool FC went down 0-4 to Colne on April 25.
There are two games on Sunday, April 28, Accrington Stanley play Chorley and Blackpool FC face Bolton Wanderers.

In the Championship Wigan claimed the Championship title with a 3-4 win at Haslingden on April 21 as Fleetwood Town Wrens moved off the bottom with a 5-4 win against Blackburn Eagles as Bolton County drop to the foot of the table with a 4-4 draw against Euxton.
Blackburn Eagles then put five past Bolton County on April 23 in a 5-0 win as Fleetwood Town drew 2-2 with Haslingden on April 25.
On April 28 Bolton County host champions Wigan and Fleetwood Town head to Blackburn Eagles on April 30 for their last game of the season.

In Division One North/West Chipping secured the title with two wins over Morecambe Ladies Reserves.
The first came on April 21 with a high scoring 4-9 victory at Morecambe before the reverse fixture on April 23 gave Chipping the title with a closer 3-2 win.
On April 21 Abbeytown finished the season off with a 2-7 win at bottom side Blackpool Town while Cadley’s 3-5 win at St Annes leaves them a point off fourth with one game to go.
Cadley can get that point on April 28 when they head to Morecambe.

In Division One South/East champions Lostock moved within two games of an unbeaten season after a 5-5 draw at Radcliffe on April 21 and a 0-12 win away to Hindley Juniors on April 23 as Penwortham Town won 10-0 at home to Blackburn Eagles to close the gap to Blackburn Community in third place.
On Sunday, April 28, Lostock take on Radcliffe while Penwortham host Blackburn Community needing to beat the visitors to potentially take third.
