A man from Barrow has been charged with burglary, fraud and assault offences after incidents in Barrow.

The incidents took place over the weekend of April 14 and yesterday April 16 where Gerard McBlain, aged 43, of James Street, Barrow has been charged with multiple offences.

He is due to appear before Barrow Magistrates Court today, April 17.

The offences are burglary, fraud, obstructing/resisting a constable in the course of their duty and assault of an emergency worker this being a police officer.
