Witnesses Sought By Cumbria Police After Fatal A66 Crash Near Brough

Cumbria Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision occurred on the A66 near Brough.

The emergency services were called at 4:58pm yesterday after a report of a two vehicle collision involving a grey Honda Civic and a silver Vauxhall Astra.

The driver of the Vauxhall Astra, a 38-year-old man from the Nottinghamshire area, sadly died at the scene.

The A66 was closed between the A6 at Penrith and the A685 at Brough for a number of hours.
