Cumbria Police Search For Witnesses After Fight In McDonald’s Carpark

Cumbria Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of violent disorder which occurred in Carlisle.

A report was received of people fighting in a car park at McDonalds on London Road at 11:45am on Thursday, April 11.

A spokesperson for Cumbria Constabulary said: “Enquiries are ongoing by officers to establish the full circumstances of this incident.

“At this stage, there are no details on the severity of any injuries suffered as a result of this incident.

“We are aware of social media posts speculating that this incident may be racially aggravated.

“All lines of enquiry will be investigated, however at this time there is no information to corroborate that this incident is racially aggravated.”

Cumbria Police Officers are urging anyone with information or any witnesses to contact them.
