Eden Valley And West Cumbria Bowls Leagues Prepare For New Season

Clubs around the county are getting ready for the new season of the Eden Valley and West Cumbria Leagues.

Eden Valley Mixed Triples

Division One champions Linton get the season off to a tough start facing runners up Fitz Park A on Tuesday, April 23 while Penrith Friars B welcome Lazonby.

Division Two winners Caldbeck get life in Division One underway by welcoming Appleby A and fellow new side Temple Sowerby head to Fitz Park B.

Seascale host Egremont and two of Cockermouth’s sides face each other as Harris Park A host Croft.

Cumbria’s county sides know who they will face as they look to continue to make their mark on the national scene.

The Balcomb Trophy side face Northumberland for a place in the North Regional Finals where they could face Nottinghamshire or Lancashire for a place in the final.

The quarter final of the Walker Cup has Cumbria hosting Lincolnshire for a place at the finals day where they could face Durham or Lancashire for a place in the final.

Cumbrian’s White Rose side head to Lancashire for a place at the finals day where they could face Lincolnshire or Northumberland in the semifinals.

In the round-robin stage of the Johns Trophy Cumbria head to Durham before facing Nottinghamshire.
