The family of Tiffany Render, who died after an incident in Whitehaven, have paid tribute to her life.

The family of Miss Tiffany Render said: “It is with great sadness that Tiffany has so tragically been taken from us. 

“Tiffany will be sorely missed by her whole family. 

“We will treasure every memory of her.” 

Paul Irwin, aged 50, of George Street, Whitehaven has been charged with the murder of Tiffany Render.

He was also charged with sexual assault.

Irwin appeared before Workington Magistrates Court on March 26 and was remanded into custody.

He is due to appear before Carlisle Crown Court on March 27.

The charge follows an investigation after officers were called to a property on George Street, Whitehaven at around 11:45pm on March 22, 2024.
