Patterdale Mountian Rescue continued the trend of mountain rescue teams being busy over the weekend.

The mountain rescue teams in Cumbria have had a busy weekend as walkers struggled with the snowy conditions up on the fell tops.

On Sunday, March 3, Patterdale Mountian Rescue responded to two separate calls for help.

In the morning the team were called out to Deepdale for three people who found themselves lost in the snowy conditions with poor visibility.

The call used a team of ten volunteer members who went to find them and get them to safety.
