Cumbria Police has seized around £1,500 worth of cocaine and charged a man with intent to supply.

Olgert Sinaj, 22, of no fixed address, was charged after officers proactively stopped a vehicle on School Street in Barrow on Wednesday, February 28.

Officers seized around £1500 of suspected cocaine during the search of the vehicle.

Sinaj was charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine.

He was due to appear before South Cumbria Magistrates Court on Thursday, February 29.

Another man in his 30s was also arrested and has been release on bail.
