Three West Cumbrian Fire Stations were involved in rescuing a puppy from a river.
Cockermouth Fire Station, Workington Fire Station and Whitehaven Fire Station were all involved in saving an eight month old puppy on February 19.

The animal rescue took place on the river Cocker as the rescuers got the dog back to safety using twin rope access and swift water rescue equipment.
The Stations were able to provide a happy ending for the very cute but cold 8 month old little dog.
