A man has been arrested in Kendal and potentially stolen property has been recovered.

Cumbria police have worked quickly after an incident was reported on February 17 at Kirkstone Mews, Kendal.

A 47 year old male was arrested at his home address on Sunday, February 18.

Searching his home a number of items including bikes have been seized by the Police that they believe are stolen property.

A spokesperson said: “If you or anyone you know living in Kendal have been subject to a crime, particularly theft of a bike and have NOT reported it to us yet please get in touch on 101 or report online on the Cumbria Police website.

“It’s really important that we can bring appropriate charges but we have to be able to demonstrate that any property we have recovered actually belongs to you.”
