Cumbria’s Lancashire FA Women’s sides continue to fight across all the leagues.

The lead of the Premier Division changed hands again on Sunday, February 4, as Bolton Wanderers lost 4-0 at Wigan Athletic while Colne moved into first with a 3-2 win against Chorley Women.

Kendal based GT7 Academy ran out 4-1 winners at home to Burnley Belvedere while Stanwix Juniors picked up a 2-1 win over Clitheroe Wolves and Blackpool FC were beaten 2-1 by Sir Tom Finney.

Colne will be hoping to increase their lead on Sunday, February 11, when they face Blackpool as Wigan Athletic head to Accrington Stanley and Bolton Wanderers travel to Sir Tom Finney.

Stanwix Juniors make the trip to Chorley and Clitheroe Wolves welcome Burnley Belvedere.

Whitehaven AFC’s Championship lead was cut to a point on February 4 as Wigan Athletic beat Haslingden 7-4 while Horwich St Mary’s 6-1 win against Fleetwood Town Wrens move them to within four points of top.

Euxton won 2-5 at Penrith AFC as Blackburn Eagles were 3-2 winners at home to Preston North End and Lancaster City were 1-2 winners at Bolton County.

The top spot could change hands on February 11 as Wigan Athletic head to Euxton as Whitehaven AFC’s game is postponed.

Penrith AFC Development head to Preston North End, Fleetwood Town Wrens host Blackburn Eagles as Haslingden welcome Bolton County.

In Division One North/West the top two were in action on February 4 as leaders Chipping came away from Kendal Town with a 3-4 win while Rosegrove ran out 5-0 winners against Blackpool Town.

Cumbrian side Abbeytown closed the gap to third placed Sir Tom Finney with a 5-1 win at home to St Annes.

Chipping take on Blackpool Town as Rosegrove head to St Annes on February 11 while Cumbria’s Kendal Town host Morecambe and Abbeytown travel to Sir Tom Finney.

Blackburn Community’ game against Penwortham Town and Clitheroe Wolves trip to Hindley Juniors were both postponed.

Lostock host Radcliffe on February 11 while Euxton head to Penwortham Town
