A Whitehaven man had been convicted of harassment and fined over £1000.

The Hensingham resident was convicted of Section 2 Harassment on Monday, February 5.

He was given a two year Restraining Order.

This is with conditions after it was applied for by the Investigating Officer on behalf of the affected parties and was subsequently granted at court.

Alongside this, they received £1158 worth of fines and a mandatory rehabilitation order to engage with.
