Town Council Warns Drivers As Anti-Social Behaviour Impacts Them

Drivers are being warned to be vigilant as they pass under a bridge as anti-social behaviour can impact them.

Egremont Town Council have taken to social media to warn drivers as youths have been seen throwing things off the bridge on the Cleator Road.

Recently large sticks have been thrown off and now more “worryingly and very concerning” metal covers have been lifted from drains and thrown over onto the road.

This has been reported to the police as it was witnessed by a Town Councillor as it happened.

Workers have been in the area clearing away the debris from the path and roadside.
