A Man Has Been Charged With Multiple Offences Including Attempted Murder In Cleator Moor

A man has been charged with attempted murder and other offences following an incident in Cleator Moor.

The incident took place on William Morris Avenue on Saturday, January 27, and involved two men.

One of the men was taken to Cumberland Infirmary with non-life-threatening injuries.

Lee Walker, 32, of no fixed address was charged with:

  • Attempt murder
  • Assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm
  • Two counts of possessing a knife in a public place
  • Assaulting an emergency worker

He appeared at North and West Cumbria magistrates court today, January 29, and was remanded in custody to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on February 26.
