Penrith Fire Crews Respond To A Property Fire

Two crews were sent from Penrith Fire Station as a property fire was reported in the town.

In the early hours of January 27 two fire engines from Penrith spent two hours responding to reports of a building fire in town.

On arrival the only occupant of the property was outside suffering from minor smoke inhalation and the property was heavily smoke logged on the ground floor.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and were able to find and quickly extinguish the fire.

A Positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke and the property owner was checked over by North West Ambulance Service.
