Teesside Hospice Looks To Raise Funds With Rallye Du Soleil

Teesside Hospice, a beacon of compassion in the community, is thrilled to unveil its most exciting corporate event to date the Rallye Du Soleil.

The Rallye Du Soleil, which takes place from September 9 to 15, aims to raise funds to support this vital work.

This 2000-mile driving challenge to the French Riviera promises not only the trip of a lifetime for participants but also a crucial opportunity to raise vital funds for the Hospice.

Spokesperson for Teesside said: “We’re currently anticipating a fleet of 10-30 cars to embark on this once-in-a-lifetime journey from Teesside to St Tropez in support of Teesside Hospice.

“Each car can have more than one person in them. Sign ups close at the end of March, but we’re expecting all our drivers to raise a combined amount of over £30,000, whilst raising essential awareness for the care we provide to those living with a life-limiting illness.”

For just £400 per person (based on two sharing a car), participants will embark on a thrilling adventure, including accommodation, evening meals, channel crossings, mechanical support, a
celebration party in the glamorous St. Tropez, and a day of leisure in this iconic location.

To participate, teams are required to provide a car, there is no restrictions on age or value, and raise a minimum of £2,000 per car in sponsorship.

Corporate sponsorship opportunities Teesside Hospice offers exclusive Rallye Du Soleil sponsorship packages for businesses eager to increase brand visibility while supporting a great cause, each offering unique branding opportunities on event-related communications, T-shirts, the website, and on cars and support vehicles.

Teesside Hospice have already secured some sponsorship for the event with Ramsdens Currency showing their support by becoming the Headline sponsors.

CEO Peter Kenyon expressed his excitement about supporting the event saying: “Sponsoring The Rallye Du Soleil is an exciting opportunity for Ramsdens as you can draw a link to our foreign currency service, but the reason for getting involved was to help the Hospice.

“Hopefully, those going on the trip make memories that last a lifetime and raise a fabulous amount of money for Teesside Hospice.”

Also on board as Gold sponsors are Sign Design UK who are providing Rally logos for all cars free of charge, and Industrial Technology Systems who have snapped up the event start line launch, vehicle safety checks and party night in St Tropez packages.

Phil North and Steve Riggens of SGR Marketing, with their extensive experience in rally organisation, have meticulously planned the Rallye Du Soleil to ensure participants experience not only the thrill of the drive but also flawless execution.
