Kayakers were rescued by Kendal and Penrith fire crews after getting stranded on Norfolk Island.
On Saturday, January 20, crews from Kendal and Penrith were sent to Ullswater where two kayakers and a dog had became stranded on Norfolk Island due to the strong weather conditions.

As conditions began to worsen, Kendal deployed their rescue boat and were able to safely rescue everyone involved.
