The North West Women’s Regional Leagues returned and the top and bottom of the tables tightened up as the sides entered the new year.
In the Premier Division second placed Tranmere Rovers were held to a 4-4 draw at Salford City while Bury were 3-2 victors at home to Crewe Alexandra on Sunday, January 7.
The top two meet on Sunday, January 14, as Cheadle Town Stingers host Tranmere Rovers while Blackburn Community head to Darwen.
Curzon Ashton play Bury as West Didsbury travel to Fleetwood Town Wrens and Salford City take on Blackpool FC.

Mancunian Unity have continued their unbeaten run at the top of Division One North with a 2-3 win at Bolton Wanderers on January 7, as Penrith AFC moved into second with a 0-3 victory at Haslingden while Morecambe and Carlisle United played out a 0-0 draw.
Leaders Mancunian Unity host Radcliffe while Penrith AFC welcome Haslingden on January 14, third placed Accrington Stanley head to fourth placed Preston North End.
While Morecambe look to close the gap to Bolton Wanderers and Penwortham Town hope to move closer to a move out of the bottom two with a home game against Fleetwood Town Wrens.

In Division One South Runcorn Linnets moved within three points of leaders Wythenshawe with a 1-7 win at Altrincham FC while Warrington Town sit third after a 3-2 win over Poulton Vics and Mossley Hills won 1-2 at FC St. Helens on January 7.
Wythenshawe return to action on January 14, as they travel to Hindley Juniors while Runcorn Linnets head to Ellesmere Port, FC St. Helens make the trip to Litherland and Poulton Vics face Altrincham FC.
