Carlisle Man Charged In Relations To A Number Of Burglaries And Thefts

A Carlisle man has been charged in relation to a number of burglary and theft reports with a number of items recovered.

This is part of Cumbria Police’s investigation into a number of burglary and theft reports in the Warwick Road and Brunton Crescent area in Carlisle on the January 5, 2024.

A number of items, including a Shark vacuum cleaner, a tool bag containing hand tools and a multi cutter, and two boxed Makita power drills were recovered as part of the investigation, which are suspected to have been stolen locally.

Simon Highmore, 34, of Melbourne Road, has been charged with various offences in connection with the reports.

Officers would like to identify the owner of the items, with a view to progressing the investigation.
