Cumbria Police have changed their appeal for information on the whereabouts of Gary Ferguson, 33.

Last seen at 5pm on December 22 on London Road, Carlisle, officers initially appealed for information on sightings of Ferguson as a missing person.

Now, following further enquiries, police can confirm he is no longer being treated as a missing person.

He is wanted on suspicion of assault and for recall to prison.

Anyone who has information on Ferguson’s whereabouts is urged to contact police.
