Final Game Of 2023 For North West Women’s Regional Football League

The North West Women’s Regional Leagues head into the final game of 2023 with all three leagues shaping up for an exciting 2024.

In the Premier Division Tranmere Rovers went joint top with a 5-0 win over West Didsbury on Sunday, December 10, as Salford City lost 1-2 to Crewe Alexandra.

The battle for the top spot continues as Cheadle Town head to Darwen and Tranmere Rovers make the trip to Blackburn Community on Sunday, December 17.

Bury FC travel to Fleetwood Town Wrens while Crewe Alexandra host West Didsbury and the bottom two face off as Blackpool FC play Salford City.

There are new leaders in Division One North with the top two facing off with Mancunian Unity moved above Accrington Stanley with a 3-0 win on Sunday, December 10, to extend their unbeaten run and Workington Reds lost 1-2 to Fleetwood Town Wrens.

Mancunian Unity face another of their title rivals on Sunday, December 17, as they host Preston North End while Accrington Stanley will want to win at home to Bolton Wanderers.

Penrith AFC welcome Fleetwood Town Wrens looking to take advantage of any slip up from the teams above while Morecambe head to Haslingden, Workington Reds are on the road to Penwortham Town and Carlisle United make the trip to Radcliffe.

Wythenshawe welcome Hindley as they look to secure top spot for the end of 2023 on Sunday, December 17, while Runcorn head to Northwich as Chester host Mossley Hills.

F.C. St Helens take on Altrincham as Poulton Vics play Litherland.
