Rishabh Tiwari Announced As Cleator Cricket Club Professional For 2024

Cleator Cricket Club have announced Rishabh Tiwari as their professional for 2024.

Indian Rishabh currently plays first class cricket for Chhattisgarh and has enjoyed a good start in the Vijay Hazare Trophy scoring three 50’s in four games with one falling just short of being converted to a century.

The left hand opening batsman can also bowl left arm spin joins the West Cumbrian side after a difficult 2023 season that finished with the side second bottom.

In a post on social media a spokesperson for Cleator Cricket Club said: “Cleator Cricket Club are thrilled to announce the signing of 2024 Professional Rishabh Tiwari.

“Rishabh, 30, is a Left Handed Opening Batsman and Left Arm Spinner from Jabalpur, India and is currently playing first class cricket for Chhattisgarh.

“As a club, we can’t wait to welcome Rishabh and here’s to a successful 2024 season.

“A huge thanks to Rob Ashwell from Ace Cricket Exchange with all his help in securing Rishabh.”
