North West Women’s Regional Football League Twists Again

The North West Women’s Regional Leagues have taken another twist after the last round of games.

In the Premier Division Blackburn Community were held to a 3-3 draw by Curzon Ashton on Sunday, November 19, while Darwen lost 1-3 at home to Salford City as Tranmere were held to a 2-2 draw at Crewe Alexandra while Bury joined the group on ten points with a 3-1 over Fleetwood Town Wrens.

Joint leaders Cheadle Town are in action at home to Bury in Sunday, November 26, as Curzon Ashton face Salford City and Fleetwood Town welcome high flying Blackburn Community.

The fixtures in Division One North were decimated with Penrith’s 7-2 home win over Bolton Wanderers.

All three Cumbrian sides are in action on Sunday, November 26, as Carlisle United host Radcliffe and Workington face unbeaten Mancunian Unity while Penrith make the trip to Preston North End with Penwortham Town playing Accrington Stanley.

Warrington Town travel to Hindley while Ellesmere Port face Mossley Hills.
