Sellafield Takes Home Two Wins And Team Recognition At Collaborative Working Awards

Sellafield Ltd and partners have triumphed at the prestigious Institute for Collaborative Working awards claiming two awards.

The Institute for Collaborative Working (ICW) Awards on Wednesday, November 22, hosted in the House of Lords where Sellafield collected two awards.

Sellafield’s Programme and Project Partners collected the ‘Supply Chain Award’ and the Decommissioning Delivery Partnership picked up the ‘Social Impact’ top prize.

The ICW promotes and encourages collaborative working and its advantages while addressing the challenges facing organisations, people and communities.

Eirini Etoimou, head of corporate sustainability and supply chain development at Sellafield Ltd said: “Team synergy fuels triumphs—where collaboration leads, victory follows twice’

“Last night, we were shortlisted in a number of categories and won 2 national prestigious awards. I’m delighted that collaborative working is being embedded in our business culture, and genuinely impressed by the exemplary work both teams delivered.”

Along with the wins the Design Services Alliance and Technical Services Agreement were shortlisted in a number of categories, and Sellafield Ltd and OneAim were recognised for their joint ‘Primary Business Partnership Social Impact’ submission.

Laura Doughty, head of culture, engagement and sustainability, project delivery, for Sellafield Ltd said: “We are delighted Sellafield Ltd’s Programme and Project Partners was again shortlisted in a number of categories and won the ‘Supply Chain Award’.

“It was great to join our colleagues in other partnerships at the awards, and for us all to be recognised at this event is a testament to the progress being made on the Sellafield site to support high-hazard risk reduction at one of the largest infrastructure projects in the north.”
