It was another tough round in the regional divisions for Cumbria’s rugby union sides.
In Regional 1 North West the top three are still tied after the round on Saturday, November 18, with Rossendale winning 43-3 against Northwich as Blackburn won 40-5 at home to Stockport and Macclesfield came away form Anselmians with a 5-33 win.
Leek lost 17-28 Manchester while Wirral won 27-7 at home to Sandbach and Kendal took the bragging rights with a 13-0 win over Penrith.
League actions returns on Saturday, December 2.

Percy Park are still the team to catch at the top of Regional 2 North with a 28-15 win over third placed Middlesbrough on Saturday, November 18, while Northern kept the pressure on with a 7-29 win at West Hartlepool.
Aspatria lost 23-17 at Durham City but maintain fourth while Stockton won 15-14 at home to Upper Eden as Keswick again took victory with a single point with a 12-13 win at Morpeth and Cockermouth were beaten 59-19 on the road at Consett.
The teams have a weekend off and return to action on Saturday, December 2.

In Regional 2 North West Birkenhead Park continue their stay at the top with a 50-3 win over Kirkby Lonsdale while second place Bowden won 20-16 against fourth placed Firwood Waterloo on Saturday, November 18.
Third placed Crewe & Nantwich beat Douglas (I.O.M) 39-18 as fifth place Burnage ran out 56-26 winners over Liverpool St Helens while Altrincham Kersal were beaten 15-16 by Vale of Lune and Winnington Park were 22-19 winners at home to Whitchurch.
The league now takes a break until December except for Liverpool St Helens and Vale of Lune who play their catch up game on Saturday, November 25.

Carlisle have extended their lead at the top of the Cumbria league with a 7-48 win at Aspatria 2nd while Whitehaven were held to a 23-23 draw at Egremont on Saturday, November 18.
At the bottom Workington beat Windermere 40-12 as Hawcoat Park were awarded the win against Keswick 2nd while Millom were beaten 12-17 by Penrith 2nd and Creighton really didn’t enjoy the trip to Wigton who ran out 106-0 winners.
The final three games of 2023 stars on Saturday, December 2, as Carlisle face Millom with St Benedicts heading to Penrith 2nd and Whitehaven host fourth placed Wigton.
Creighton play Aspatria 2nd, Keswick 2nd take on Workington and Egremont make the trip to Windermere.
