Cumberland Council is excited to announce the launch of its winter Holiday Activity and Food programme.
The Holiday Activity and Food programme also called HAF aims to provide a range of engaging activities and nutritious meals for eligible children during the upcoming Christmas holidays.

Funded by the Department for Education the programme has been running since 2021 and has provided a wide range of activities during the school holidays and a warm nutritious meal.
Deputy Leader (Non-Statutory) of Cumberland Council and Executive Member for Children, Family Wellbeing and Housing, Councillor Emma Williamson, said: “Cumberland Council is committed to reducing inequalities for all residents and particularly for our young people.
“The Holiday Activity and Food programme helps to alleviate hunger and provides opportunities to try new things, build skills, and make new friends.
“We look forward to collaborating with our enthusiastic community partner organisations, primary and secondary schools once again to provide this important support for families and young people this winter.”
