Holker Hall’s annual Winter Market returned to Holker Hall & Gardens last weekend, running from Friday, November 3, to Sunday, November 5.
Visitors were welcomed by many well-known business stalls, artisan gifts, live music, great food and drink, and even some new traders.
Head of Visitor Services, Fran Horne said: “The market was a huge success. It was the biggest we’ve done to date with over 130 stalls.
“This year, we extended the markets into the Shire Yard, where 18 exclusive and fabulous gift stalls showcased their amazing offerings.
“Our live acts included a fire show at Friday’s evening market from Matrix Circus, live music by Cumbria Collective, and Holker favourites The Bread and Butter Theatre Company across the weekend”.
“It’s been a fantastic market this year welcoming over 11,000 visitors over the 3 days which included for the first time twilight shopping. Thank you to all of our wonderful traders and to everyone who visited and made it such a special weekend.”
