Cumbrian Man Arrested As Officers Seize Drugs And Cash

A Cumbrian man has been arrested after officers from Eden’s Neighbourhood Policing Team, seized drugs and cash.

The team, assisted by officers from the Tactical Support Group, carried out a warrant in Rampkin Pastures, Appleby this morning November 10.

Officers searched the property and seized a quantity of drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested for possession with intent to supply. He remains in police custody.

Inspector Mo Bibby, Eden NPT, said: “Year-round, our officers are arresting those involved in criminality in our communities.

“Our message to offenders in Eden is that we will be swift in going after those who harm our communities by committing crime.”
