It was a winning weekend for Cumbria’s sides in the Lancashire FA Women’s County Leagues as almost all picked up points.
In the Premier Division leaders GT7 Academy returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Chorley on Sunday, October 29, as Colne FC beat Accrington Stanley 2-1 to stay two points behind the leaders.
Sir Tom Finney lost 1-8 to Wigan Athletic and Burnley Belvedere were beaten 2-3 by Blackpool FC.
Blackpool FC host GT7 Academy on Sunday, November 5, as Colne head to Wigan Athletic while Clitheroe face the trip to Chorley.
Bolton Wanderers play Burnley while Accrington Stanley play Stanwix.

Championship leaders Whitehaven AFC made the short trip to Penrith AFC on Sunday, October 29, and came away with all three points as they ran out 0-3 winners.
Lancaster City were held to a 3-3 draw by Euxton and Bolton County picked up their first win of the season with a 4-2 victory over Preston North End.
Wigan Athletic head to leaders Whitehaven AFc on Sunday, November 5, second placed Euxton host third placed Haslingden and Horwich welcome Penrith.
The bottom two meet as Fleetwood Town take on Bolton County and Lancaster City head to Preston North End.

Division One North/West sides could not be separated on Sunday, October 29, as three of the four games ended in a draw.
The only side to win was Abbeytown who ran out 6-0 at home to Morecambe and Kendal Town shared a 12 goal thriller 6-6 with Cadley.
Leaders Rosegrove were held to a 3-3 draw with Chipping while Lostock St Gerards and Sir Tom Finney was a 4-4 stalemate.
Leaders Rosegrove host Morecambe as Chipping host Lostock St Gerards on Sunday, November 5, Sir Tom Finney will look to take advantage of any slip as they welcome St Annes and Cadley face Blackpool Town.

In Division One South/East Penwortham Town moved into second with a 10-1 victory at home to AFC Wigan on Sunday, October 29, too sit two points behind leaders Lostock St Gerards who’s game at Langho was postponed and Blackburn Eagles moved further away from the bottom two with a 2-5 win at Clitheroe.
Lostock St Gerards will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the table on Sunday, November 5, when they welcome second placed Penwortham Town while Euxton in third head to bottom of the table Clitheroe.
There is a Blackburn derby as Eagles host Community as AFC Wigan face Hindley Juniors and Langho head to Radcliffe.
