Holker Hall & Gardens are once again inviting people to visit one of the county’s biggest Winter Markets.
Taking place over three days from Friday 3 to Saturday 5 November, the popular annual event will see well over one hundred and thirty stalls and is expected to attract thousands of visitors.
And for the first time, on Friday evening the market will run until 7pm, giving people the chance to enjoy a little twilight shopping and a glass of mulled wine.

Fran Horne, head of visitor services, said: “Our Winter Market has grown in popularity since it first started and we attract a huge variety of stalls with everything from arts and crafts to homeware, handmade gifts and more besides.
“We also have a brilliant range of live music across the weekend, plus children’s entertainment, and anyone visiting the market can also explore Holker Hall itself.
“We know the Winter Market is hugely popular with our visitors and we’re looking forward to welcoming old and new friends back to Holker Hall and Gardens for 2023.”
Searching for a way to make your festive shopping more enchanting, Bread and Butter Theatre, Funcaster Events, Matrix Circus and Cumbria Collective are all here to infuse some magic into your day with a captivating cast of characters, stilt walkers and live music ensuring a delightful experience for the whole family.
As well as browsing for special gifts, visitors can enjoy mulled wine, locally produced ales and delicious sweet and savoury treats from a variety of street food vendors and Holker’s own Courtyard Café and Farm Shop.
The market is open from 12 midday to 7pm on Friday, 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets for the Holker Hall and Gardens Winter Market are £6.50 in advance online or £7.50 on the day, and include free parking and entry to the Hall and Gardens.
