Cleator Moor Man Charged With Possession And Intent To Supply Class A Drugs

A Cleator Moor man has been charged with possession and intent to supply Class A drugs.

On Friday, October 20, Detectives from Cumberland CID carried out two warrants in Cleator Moor and Maryport.

Following a warrant at a property on Birks Road in Cleator Moor, Simon Gilmour, was charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A – Cocaine – and remanded in custody.

The 47-year-old was also charged with five counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A and possessing a controlled drug of Class A – Crack Cocaine – in relation to offences in 2021.

He is to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on 20 November.

In the second warrant officers located a small amount of Cannabis from a property on Argyle Terrace in Maryport.
