Cumbria Police has confirmed the body that was found in the Warwick Bridge area was a missing Carlisle man.

Neil Billingham was reported missing on Sunday, October 15 and following this, a body of a man was located on Tuesday, October 17.

Cumbria Police has now confirmed the body is that of the missing 51-year-old from Carlisle, but his death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police say a file is now being prepared for the coroner.
