Cumbrian cricket league side Cockermouth have announced a familiar face as their 2024 professional.
Returning to the Raymond Denham Cricket Oval will be 34 year old Indian all rounder Shrikant Mundhe.

The experienced professional who has played Indian Premier League (IPL) with Pune Warriors and Kolkata Knight Raiders is returning to the club that first introduced him to English cricket.
Mundhe first signed with the club back in 2014 where he scored 353 runs and took 50 wickets and it is not his first stint in Cumbria as during the 2021 season with Netherfield.
The form Cockermouth will be looking for Mundhe to find will be when he took all 10 wickets for Colwyn Bay against Birkenhead Park in 2016.
Cockermouth finished the 2023 season in third 21 points off Furness and Carlisle.
The future of the Cumbria cricket league, Eden Valley cricket league and Westmorland cricket league is currently being discussed with clubs as a new pyramid structure has been proposed.
