Cumbrian teams have moved to the top of the Lancashire FA Women’s County Leagues.
In the Premier Division GT7 Academy continued their unbeaten start with a 0-3 win against Stanwix in the Cumbrian derby on Sunday, October 1, while Colne FC and Clitheroe Wolves drew 2-2.
Accrington Stanley won 2-1 against Bolton Wanderers as Sir Tom Finney lost 1-4 to Chorley Women.
Clitheroe face Stanwix and Colne head to Chorley on Sunday, October 8, with a chance to close the gap to GT7 Academy whose game is postponed and Wigan head to Bolton Wanderers in the other fixture to be played.

In the Championship Whitehaven AFC moved top with a 6-0 win over Fleetwood Town Wrens on Sunday, October 1, as Penrith AFC lost 0-14 to Haslingden.
Lancaster City were beaten 1-4 by Wigan Athletic who go joint top and Horwich St Mary’s won 3-0 at home to Preston North End.
There are only two games in the division on Sunday, October 8, as Lancaster City take in Bolton County and Preston North End host Blackburn Eagles.

Division One North/West Cadley FC 3-8 defeat to Chipping Ladies was the only game played on Sunday, October 1, as Sir Tom Finney game at Kendal Town Ladies, Abbeytown Ladies game with Lostock St Gerards and St Annes trip to Blackpool Town were postponed.
On Sunday, October 8, Sir Tom Finney host Blackpool Town while Chipping face Kendal Town, Morecambe play Cadley and St Annes host Abbeytown.
