Eight months before fans will get to see the real thing in the UK, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is heading to British cinemas, but where can you see it in Cumbria?
The Eras Tour film will play in more than 100 countries from October 13 – the same day as its previously announced US, Canada and Mexico release.
The film was recorded over the first three of six nights that Swift played at the SoFi stadium in California in August and was previously only set to release in North America.
However, yesterday, September 26, the 33-year-old 12-time Grammy winner confirmed her tour movie was heading as worldwide as the tour itself as she said on social media, she ‘so excited to tell you all that The Eras Tour concert film is now officially coming to theaters WORLDWIDE’.
The Eras Tour is the ongoing sixth concert tour by American singer-songwriter, who described it as a journey through all of her ten musical “eras” – from her Debut to her 2022 release Midnights.
The UK leg of Swift’s latest tour is set for a sell-out run beginning in Edinburg in June 2024 before going to Liverpool, Cardiff and London. With dates also in Dublin.
The movie hitting screens in the UK is a great chance for Swifties who didn’t manage to secure tickets to the real thing to experience the 44-song, three-hour spectacular.
The tour film is being shown in cinemas across the UK from October 13. So, where can you watch Taylor Swift The Eras Tour Film in Cumbria?
