The Lancashire FA Women’s County Leagues proves a happy hunting ground for most Cumbrian sides.

GT7 Academy top the Premier Division with a 0-1 win at Sir Tom Finney on Sunday, September 17, Stanwix were not as successful on their travels as they lost 4-2 at Colne while Bolton Wanderers won 5-0 against Blackpool.

The top two meet on Sunday, September 24, as GT7 welcome Colne as Wigan Athletic head to Chorley and Clitheroe host Sir Tom Finney.

Burnley play Stanwix and Accrington Stanley face Blackpool.

In the Championship Wigan Athletic unbeaten at the top after a 6-2 win against Fleetwood Town while Euxton beat Whitehaven 1-2 to move into second on Sunday, September 17.

Penrith AFC picked up their first points with a 5-1 win over Bolton County as Lancaster City were beaten 4-3 by Blackburn Eagles and Preston North End won 5-4 against Horwich.

On Sunday, September 24, Wigan Athletic head to Bolton County, Euxton welcome Horwich St Mary’s and Whitehaven AFC head to Preston North End.

Haslingden play Blackburn Eagles and Lancaster City face Penrith AFC.

Kendal Town picked up their first points with a 3-1 win over Lostock St Gerards and Cadley and Morecambe drew 3-3.

The top two meet on Sunday, September 24, as Rosegrove host Abbeytown while Sir Tom Finney face Cadley.

Radcliffe are second on goal difference after a 3-2 defeat to Penwortham Town while Blackburn Community won 1-4 at Euxton.

Leaders Lostock game at Astley Bridge on Sunday, September 24, is postponed as is Blackburn Community match with Euxton.

Radcliffe are on the road at Blackburn Eagles, Clitheroe Wolves host Langho and Hindley face Penwortham.
