Cumbria’s sides both lost in the North West Women’s Regional Football League as the divisions all remain tight.
In the Premier Division leaders Tranmere lost 1-2 to second placed Darwen on Sunday, September 17, as Cheadle Town moved up to fourth with a 3-2 win over Blackburn Community.
Fleetwood Town are up to fifth with a close 4-3 win Curzon Ashton and Blackpool FC lost 1-3 to Crewe Alexandra.
Darwen can go top on Sunday, September 24, with victory at home to West Didsbury who will be looking to stake their own claim on the top spot.
Cheadle Town head to Curzon Ashton, Crewe Alexandra welcome Fleetwood Town while at the bottom of the table Salford City head to Blackburn Community and Bury host Blackpool.

In Division One North Preston North End lost 3-1 to Accrington Stanley on Sunday, September 17, while Fleetwood Town were dragged back into a clutch of teams on six points after a 6-0 defeat at Morecambe.
Carlisle United made their way back to Cumbria with a 7-2 loss to Haslingden while Workington Reds were beaten 4-2 at Radcliffe and Penwortham Town lost 2-5 at home to Bolton Wanderers.
Preston North End will look to stay top of the table when they host Radcliffe on Sunday, September 24, as Mancunian Unity host Haslingden while Penrith head to Fleetwood Town.
Carlisle United are in action against Morecambe while Bolton Wanderers host Accrington Stanley.
Workington Reds trip to Penwortham Town is postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

In Division One South Wythenshawe sit top of the table after a 0-6 win at Runcorn Linnet on Sunday, September 17, as joint leaders St Helens also ran out 6-0 winners at home to Litherland.
Poulton Vics are up to third with a 1-11 win over Northwich, Hindley took a 2-3 win at Ellesmere Port, Mossley Hills lost 8-2 to Warrington Wolves and Altrincham were beaten 2-4 by Chester.
The last game of September takes place on Sunday 24 as Wythenshawe host Runcorn and St Helens head to Chester.
Poulton Vics welcome Ellesmere Port while Hindley face Warrington as Litherland play Altrincham and Northwich head to Mossley Hills.
