National Conference Rugby League: Playoff Matches And Final League Games

The National Conference Leagues comes to a close and sides now turn their attention to the playoffs with one last chance at promotion available.

In the Premier Division Hunslet ARLFC clinched the league title with a 6-64 win at Hull Dockers as West Hull had to make do with second despite a 4-50 win at York Acorn on Saturday, September 9.

Third placed Rochdale Mayfield head into the playoffs with a 36-6 defeat at Siddal and Wath Brow Hornets finished with a 42-0 win at home to Wigan St Patricks.

Kells played their way into a potential playoff place with a 60-10 win against Thatto Heath Crusaders as Lock Lane missed out as they lost 10-14 against Leigh Miners Rangers.

In the final league game of the season Kells head to Wigan St Patricks on Saturday, September 16, knowing a win would set up a showdown with Rochdale Mayfield on Tuesday, September 19.

Wath Brow Hornets face Siddal with the match being shown on OURLEAGUE.

In Division One the regular season came to a close on Saturday, September 9, with champions West Bowling losing 24-18 at Ince Rose Bridge and Heworth lost 26-18 to Oulton Raiders as the pair head into the playoffs.

Clock Face Miners lost 48-4 to Skirlaugh as they claimed the final playoff place while Crosfields lost 24-22 to Stanningley and Thornhill Trojans finished the season with a 28-34 loss against Pilkington Recs.

The Division One Playoffs start with Heworth welcoming Oulton Raiders and Stanningley play Skirlaugh on Saturday, September 16.

In Division Two on Saturday, September 9, East Leeds finish their season with a big 66-22 win over Normanton Knights while Shaw Cross Sharks beat playoff rivals Woolston Rovers 16-30.

Barrow Island missed out on a playoff place as Saddleworth Rangers won 35-10 and Wigan St Judes beat Dewsbury Moor Maroons 16-13 as Dewsbury Celtic jumped into the last playoff place with a 28-26 win against Waterhead Warriors.

Milford lost 24-40 to Myton Warriors who take their relegation battle to their final game against Saddleworth Rangers.

There is everything to play for as Saddleworth Rangers host Myton Warriors on Saturday, September 16.

A win for Myton will relegate Barrow Island due to points difference while a victory for Saddleworth Rangers will put them in the playoffs.

While the final place is sorted out Woolston Rovers host Wigan St Judes in the other playoff game.

In Division Three Driglington closed the season with a 58-12 win over Seaton Rangers Saturday, September 9.

With that win Drighlington will head to Leigh East in the playoffs as Millom host Beverley on Saturday, September 16.
