The North West Women’s Regional Football League moved to midweek fixtures over the Bank Holiday weekend.
In the Premier Division Tranmere Rovers moved to the top of the table as they drew 1-1 at Curzon Ashton in the only game on Saturday, August 27.
On Wednesday, August 30, Blackpool lost 3-2 at Blackburn as Salford City were beaten 1-2 by Cheadle Town.
Darwen missed the chance to go back to the top as they were beaten 1-2 by Fleetwood and West Didsbury drew 0-0 with Bury.
Top versus bottom on Sunday, September 3, when Tranmere travel to Bury while Darwen play Curzon Ashton and Fleetwood Town host Cheadle Town looking to take advantage of any slip up by Tranmere.
Crewe Alexandra will be looking for their first win when they face Salford City and West Didsbury could jump to the top of the table with a win at Blackpool.

The only game in the Division One North on Tuesday, August 29, Mancunian Unity won 6-4 at home to Bolton Wanderers to go top.
The second Cumbrian Derby of the season ended in a 2-0 win for Workington Reds Ladies against Carlisle United on Wednesday, August 30.
Haslingden won 7-0 at home to new comers Radcliffe, Penwortham Town lost 0-3 to Morecambe and Fleetwood lost a seven goal thriller 5-2 to leaders Preston North End.
Leaders Preston North End head to Morecambe and Mancunian Unity host Accrington Stanley on Sunday, September 3.
Penrith travel to Radcliffe looking to join Preston and Unity at the top while Haslingden are at Penwortham Town.
Bolton Wanderers host Workington Reds and Carlisle United welcome Fleetwood Town.

In Division One South both Runcorn and F.C. St. Helens sit top after three wins.
On Wednesday, August 30, Runcorn won 5-1 against Mossley Hills as F.C. St. Helens beat Hindley 2-0.
Altrincham lost 0-11 at home to third placed Wythenshawe, Ellesmere Port won 5-1 against Northwich, Chester move up to fourth after a 0-2 win at Litherland and Warrington lost 2-1 at Poulton Vics.
League leaders Runcorn head to Poultin Vics while F.C. St. Helens travel to Northwich on Sunday, September 3.
Second placed Wythenshawe make the trip to fourth placed Chester as Mossley Hills host Ellesmere Port while Hindley face Litherland and Warrington host Altrincham.
