Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to reports of a male acting suspiciously and behaving inappropriately near Carlisle city centre.

This was reported to have happened in the Aglionby Street and Portland Square areas at about 2.30pm yesterday, Wednesday, August 23.

He was described as white, with a beard and scruffy long hair. He was wearing a red hoodie and black trousers.

Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, referring to log 103 of August 23.
