North West Women’s Regional Football League Fixtures Released

The North West Women’s Regional Football League fixtures have been released as team prepare for the 2023-24 season.

In the Premier Division promoted Blackpool FC Ladies travel to West Didsbury & Chorlton AFC Women on Sunday, August 20.

Crewe Alexandra FC Women who face Blackburn Community Sports Club Women as Curzon Ashton FC Women take on Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies.

Salford City play their first game against Darwen FC while Tranmere Rovers Women host Cheadle Town Stingers.

Bury FC get their campaign underway on Wednesday, August 23, when they face runners up Salford City Lionesses as Blackburn Community take on Darwen FC.

Cheadle Town play West Didsbury and Tranmere welcome Crewe Alexandra.

Blackpool are in action on Thursday, August 24, at local rivals Fleetwood Town.

Cumbria’s three teams in Division One North all start on Sunday, August 20 as Penrith AFC hist Morecambe Women and Workington Reds Ladies play Accrington Stanley Women FC.

Carlisle United Ladies head to Preston North End while Haslingden Ladies face Bolton Wanderers.

The two of the three new sides in the division face each other as Fleetwood Town Wrens Reserves play Radcliffe FC Women and Mancunian Unity Women host Penwortham Town Ladies.

Three days later the first Cumbrian Derby of the season as Carlisle United welcome Penrith on Wednesday, August 23.

Ellesmere Port Town host Wythenshawe Ladies as F.C. St. Helens take on Warrington Wolves Foundation while Litherland Remyca play Northwich Vixens.

Relegated Mossley Hill Athletic head to Altrincham FC and Runcorn Linnets FC welcome Hindley Juniors.

The sides are then back in action on Wednesday, August 23, as Chester FC Women take on Ellesmere Port Town, Hindley Juniors play F.C. St. Helens and Mossley Hill take on Litherland Remyca.

Northwich Vixens face Altrincham FC, Warrington Wolves play Runcorn Linnets and Poulton Vics FC Ladies travel to Wythenshawe Ladies.
