Two men are to appear in court charged in connection with a robbery which occurred in Barrow.

The charges are in connection with an incident which occurred on, August 8, 2023, Cumbria Police confirmed.

The two men charged with robbery are:

• Peter William Penman, aged 32, of Dundonald Street, Barrow
• Gareth Fleming, aged 44, of Roose Road, Barrow

They are remanded in custody ahead of appearing at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court today, August 12.
