One side in the National Conference Leagues has started the penultimate month off in style by clinching promotion.
The Premier Division continued on August, Saturday 5, with all still to play for as leaders Hunslet ARLFC won 14-18 at Leigh Miners Rangers as third-placed Wath Brow Hornets ran out 28-24 winners at home to Lock Lane.
On the OURLEAGUE fans watched as fourth-placed Rochdale Mayfield lost 14-26 to second-placed West Hull.
Siddal took another step away from the relegation places with a 48-4 win against Kells while playoff placeholders Thatto Heath Crusaders beat Wigan St Patricks 32-14 as fifth-placed York Acorn thumped Hull Dockers 74-0.
Two games in the Premier Division both take place during the week with Lock Lane hosting Siddal on Thursday, August 10, and Rochdale Mayfield head to Wigan St Patricks on Friday, August 11.

The first side of the season has been promoted with Division One’s West Bowling recording a 40-24 win over Pilkington Recs on Saturday, August 5.
Heworth won 4-36 at Clock Face Miners as Egremont Rangers beat Oulton Raiders 40-10 in their last home game of the season.
Ince Rose Bridge lost 18-26 to Skirlaugh and Stanningley scored a 54-18 win at home to Thornhill Trojans.
Mid-week rugby league is the on as Crosfields host Clock Face Miners on Thursday, August 10, in the only game in the Division as both look to close the gap to the playoff places.

In Division Two Waterhead Warriors won 26-12 against Saddleworth Rangers on August 5 while Dewsbury Moor Maroons 48-18 win over Milford keeps the pressure on.
Third place goes to Shaw Cross Sharks after a 16-31 win at Myton Warriors as Normanton Knights 12-13 win at Woolston Rovers while Barrow Island recorded a 24-16 win against East Leeds and Dewsbury Celtic lost 22-24 to Wigan St Judes.
The rugby in Division Two kicks off early with top versus bottom as Waterhead Warriors host East Leeds and Wigan St Judes play Normanton Knights on Thursday, August 10.

On Saturday, August 5, leaders Oldham St Annes lost 22-28 to Leigh East while Millom won 30-10 against Drighlington.
Hensingham drew 20-20 with Beverley while Eastmoor Dragons went down 4-20 to Bentley.
Millom face Eastmoor Dragons in the only game in the Division on Saturday 12.
