The Cumbria Cricket League heads into the penultimate month with all still to play for in each division.
There are new leaders of the Premier Division as Carlisle take over at the top after the round of games on Saturday, July 29.
Batting first at Cleator Jonathan Davidson’s 95 helped take Carlisle to 243.
James Rogers 53 was the highlight of Cleator’s innings as Michael Slack took 5 wickets for 19 runs as Cleator were dismissed for 92.
Furness put Cockermouth into bat and Gareth White made an unbeaten 114 as they finished on 228.
A late rally from Ryan Griffiths with 57 almost gave the visiting Furness victory but they fell 17 runs short on 204.
Third placed Workington travelled to Whitehaven where they won the toss and batted first making 223 with Matthew Lowden scoring 61.
In reply Whitehaven were bowled out for 179 with Nathan Carmichael falling on 47.
Wigton put Haverigg into bat first and opener Drew Postlethwaite scored 50 and Jordan Postlethwaite made 79 as they were bowled out for 170.
Chasing Wigton spread the runs around with Christopher Hodgson and Lewis Little scoring 31 as the team reached 171.
In a low scoring game Lindal Moor batted first and were bowled out for 99 by home side Millom with Callum High taking 4 wickets.
Bryce Street made 49 and Robert Thompson 35 as the duo took Millom to 100.
Egremont won the toss and batted first at home to Keswick with Vathsal Govind scoring 45 as they were bowled out for 162 as Glen Weightman took 4 wickets.
Keswick were bowled out for 108 with Will Atkinson making 38.
Carlisle have a chance to extend their lead at the top of the Premier Division on Saturday, August 5, when they host Millom while Workington face Furness.
Cockermouth travel to Egremont, Haverigg host Whitehaven, Keswick play Cleator and Wigton head to Lindal Moor.

The joint leaders of Division One both won on July 29 has leaders Millom 2nd chased down the home side Workington 2nd’s 80.
Ulverston won the toss at Kirkby in Furness and put the home side into bat, bowling them out for 116 before chasing it down.
Seascale won the toss and batted first at home to Dalton and were bowled out for 84 with Jos Edwards taking 5 wickets.
In reply Rob Jones scored 25 and Joe Braund Smith made 28 as Dalton reached 85.
Furness 2nd put Cockermouth 2nd into bat dismissing them for 107 before reaching 111.
Hawcoat Park batted first against Vickerstown with Sam Cunningham scoring 58 and Callum Muncaster making 48 as Hawcoat finished on 207.
John Burns lead the resistance for Vickerstown with 53 but were dismissed for 102.
The joint leaders are in action on August 5 as Millom 2nd host Kirkby in Furness and Ulverston face Seascale while third placed Dalton head to Vickerstown.
Furness 2nd welcome Hawcoat Park as Cockermouth 2nd play Workington 2nd.

In Division Two Whitehaven 2nd continued to march towards promotion on July 29 with a victory at Ulverston.
Ulverston won the toss and put Whitehaven into bat and Sachin George scored 107 with Dominic Chambers scoring 95 to take them to 267.
Ben Cavaghan then took 4 wickets for 13 runs as Ulverston were bowled out for 68.
Second placed Haverigg 2nd put the visiting Cleator 2nd into back with Steven Wishart making 51 as they finished on 81 from 40 overs.
Haverigg’s Steve Chapman and Kieran Rogan helped take the home side to 82.
Egremont 2nd travel to Lindal Moor 2nd and winning the toss batted first making 111 as Sebastian Bell took 4 wickets.
Chasing Dave Mansergh made 67 for Lindal Moor as they reached 112.
Home side Dalton 2nd were put into bat by Barrow and a quick 52 from Kyle Jefferson took them to 150 as they were bowled out with Ben Carr taking 4 wickets.
In reply Ollie Whalley made 68 and Ross McMurdo scored 43 as Barrow scored 151.
The first game on August 5 Whitehaven 2nd host Egremont 2nd as Haverigg 2nd head to Barrow.
Cleator 2nd welcome Ulverston 2nd while Dalton 2nd play Lindal Moor 2nd.
