Cumbria’s Bowlers Get Ready For County Finals

The weekend has finally arrived as Cumbria’s bowlers get ready for the County’s Finals weekend.

All disciplines will be on display as players and clubs look to not only claim a county title but a place at the National Finals at Royal Leamington Spa in August.

Played over two days, Courtfield Bowling Club will host on Saturday, July 29, and Wigton Bowling Club will then take over on Sunday, July 30, with play starting at 10am both days.

Kicking off the action at Courtfield will be the Men’s Senior Fours, Women’s Pairs, Junior Singles and Two Wood Singles.

In the Two Wood Singles Aspatria’s Harrison takes on Workington’s Williams.

Then at 2pm (14:00) Hodgson will team up with Brannan to face Wilson and Baxter for the Junior Pairs title.
