Cumbria Police is appealing for witnesses after a man dies in a Brampton collision.

Police were called at 5:36pm yesterday, July 27, to the report of a collision involving a Silver Volkswagen Golf.

The collision occurred on Capon Tree Road, Brampton.

Unfortunately, as a result of the collision, the driver of the Golf, a 34-year-old local man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for a number of hours whilst a forensic collision investigation and recovery was carried out.
